MissionMode Alert & Situation Centre
MissionMode’s hosted Alert and Situation Centre service was created for organisations and teams requiring rapid communications, operations management and collaboration.
It is used by a wide range of organisations enabling them to respond more effectively to crises and other events that require rapid and concerted action.
MissionMode is a subscription-based application service which improves the response to critical events. It does this with its online Situation Centre from which people are notified and then work together to resolve the situation - an online command and control centre. Everyone can then respond and manage the crisis more quickly and effectively wherever they are.

How it works
Event response
- Team is alerted to critical event through their landline, mobile, email, fax, pager or SMS.
- All team responses are tracked and recorded.
- A Situation Centre secure web page (or dashboard) is automatically created, accessible by any web or email device (including mobiles, PDAs and Blackberrys).
- Everyone with access permission can see and contribute relevant information and report progress at any time. Whole team is quickly utilised in the successful and timely management and resolution of the crisis.
- The web page carries people status, task status and information resources and allows users to interact by posting messages, links, documents, sound, video, pictures or any file.
- Using the dashboard, tasks are rapidly assigned and progress reported and recorded.
- Sub-situations can be created to deal with specific problems that arise such as managing press relations.
After the event
- The dashboard provides a clear history of events and responses made to them so that the organisation can improve procedures for the future. Also, this audit log is a clear and unambiguous record of what happened to show insurers and protect the organisation against litigation.
